I do not have a hospital based practice and although I have contacted medical staff offering to treat Covid-19 patients, there is not a strong history of acceptance of OMT in my medical community. I expect that my contribution will come in treating people who survive the infection but who have lingering pulmonary effects. That, too, is a study that in my mind should be done as I anticipate lingering parenchymal impacts and pleural adhesions at a minimum in many of these patients.
